Who leads AHOP?
First and foremost, we want God to lead AHOP. Our leaders’ role is to seek Him, see where He is moving, follow Him, and bring others with them.
If you’ve been to a weekend Celebration or any other gathering, you were virtually surrounded by the leaders of AHOP. And it’s not because we have a large paid staff. From the beginning AHOP has been a church led by volunteers. As we’ve added to our staff, the primary charge given to each one is to equip, lead, and support volunteer leaders and teams.
We have learned that church is not meant to be carried alone. From our K-Base team to volunteer teams within each ministry, AHOP is led by teams. This provides stronger leadership through stability, complementary strengths and weaknesses, decision made with broader perspective and greater accountability.
